BWC Provides Matching Grants for Trench Safety Equipment

Trench cave-ins have been a problem for decades, frequently leading to deaths of workers caught inside. The Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation hopes to change that and has announced a $2 million grant program to help excavation companies buy trench boxes and shoring equipment, and to provide training to workers.
