Federal prosecutors charged the owner of a compounding pharmacy in Colorado of illegal interstate sales of selling an unapproved prescription pain cream.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office on Wednesday filed with the U.S. District Court for Colorado a criminal information charging Darby C. Brown, owner of Brown’s Compounding Center Inc. in Parker, with the illegal introduction of an unapproved new drug into interstate commerce. The pharmacy was charged with a single count of health care fraud.
