The Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation launched a revamped Transitional Work Grant program aiming to provide money and guidance so employers can get injured workers back on the job as soon as safely possible.
To encourage more participation, the BWC said it eliminated the 3-to-1 matching requirement and the limit on one grant per lifetime.
“Employers are now eligible for 100% reimbursement up to their approved grant maximum, and one grant every five years,” the agency said.
