Statewide MPN Proposal Amended to Request Study

Legislation that originally proposed creating a statewide medical provider network to treat injured workers in California was recently amended to instead request a study of delays and access-to-care issues in MPNs. Assemblywoman Eloise Reyes, D-San Bernardino, on Monday amended AB 1465 to strike language that would have required the Division of Workers’ Compensation to implement the California Medical Provider Network by June 30, 2022.
