The Oklahoma Workers’ Compensation Commission has adopted an emergency rule to clarify which corporate officers can elect not to be covered by the Administrative Workers’ Compensation Act.
The commission is responsible for issuing certificates of noncoverage to sole proprietors and partners of a partnership, and said it needed to clarify the scope of the regulatory rule.
