A man who filed a workers' compensation claim for injuries sustained while working in a commercial kitchen was working in a similar role for other employers while collecting benefits, according to the California Department of Insurance.
Fernando Gallegos, 43, was arrested on five felony counts of workers' compensation fraud and one felony count of perjury.
