Lawmakers Consider Bill to Change Designation of Workers' Comp Adjusters

Representatives of Maine's Senate and House will get together to discuss a bill to designate workers' compensation insurance adjusters as separate from property and casualty insurance adjusters, for licensing purposes.  LD 984 has been sent for concurrence in the House and Senate.  The bill establishes workers' compensation insurance adjusters as a distinct category under Maine statutes.  It would go into effect Oct. 1.  View the bill here.  ...
