Technology Insurance Named Assigned Risk Plan Carrier

The Division of Insurance has selected Technology Insurance Co. as the workers’ compensation assigned risk plan carrier, effective Jan. 1. The Allen, Texas-based firm will service the plan for five years, said Dawn Dovre, director of policy and public affairs for the Department of Labor and Regulation. The previous carrier, Minneapolis-based Riverport Insurance Co., will service all run-off business related to its previous contract, she said.
