Training Classes to Cover New SIU Rules

The Coalition Against Insurance Fraud announced that three virtual training sessions will be held this month covering new special investigative unit rules that take effect Oct. 1 in California. The California Department of Insurance in August adopted new rules requiring that SIU workers receive five hours of anti-fraud training each year. The rules also make a handful of changes to the information that carriers must include when submitting fraud referrals.
