Sign Language Interpreter Can't Maintain Tort Suit Against School

The Missouri Court of Appeals ruled that a woman assigned to provide interpretation services to a deaf student could not maintain a tort suit against the high school for her injuries from a fall in the parking lot. In Missouri, students with disabilities enrolled in the Kirkwood School District receive special educational services from the Special School District of St. Louis County.
