Supreme Court Clarifies Definition of 'Project Owner' for Purposes of Civil Immunity

The Alaska Supreme Court ruled that a “project owner” under the Workers’ Compensation Act must be an entity that actually contracts with another entity to perform specific work and enjoys its beneficial use.
