An Ohio judge ordered a double-dipping claimant to pay the Bureau of Workers’ Compensation $33,210 in restitution for benefits he received while he was simultaneously working for himself.
Roger Frankenberg, 60, of Sevierville, Tennessee, pleaded guilty to felony workers’ compensation fraud Sept. 9. He was sentenced to 11 months in jail, but that part of the sentence was suspended and he will serve five years of probation instead.
