Cannabis Cultivator Pleads Guilty to Comp Fraud

The owner of a licensed cannabis company pleaded no contest to payroll tax and workers’ compensation insurance fraud charges, the Monterey County District Attorney’s Office announced. Monica Herrera, 43, owned and operated Holistic Farms LLC from August 2017 to June 2018, prosecutors said.
