Facts: Austin Markey was the general manager of an automobile dealership for Autosaver Ford. On Dec. 1, 2015, Markey slipped on ice as he was exiting a car at the dealership. He fell and suffered injuries to his back, neck and shoulder.
He was hospitalized and returned to work on Dec. 7. Autosaver fired him on Dec. 17.
