Yonkers Woman Pleads Guilty to Illegally Collecting $6,500 in Comp Benefits

A Yonkers, New York, woman has pleaded guilty to collecting nearly $6,500 in out-of-work benefits for a work injury while moonlighting as a bartender, the New York State Inspector General announced this week. Diane Lares, 38, pleaded guilty to larceny in Yonkers City Court on Monday.
