A Democratic socialist motivated to run for the Virginia House of Delegates because of a bad workers’ compensation experience will make good on a campaign promise by introducing three reform measures today.
Delegate-elect Lee J. Carter, 30, said in a telephone interview Tuesday that corporate interests have eroded worker protections over the past three decades.
