A professor at Butler University is recommending Congress expand the federal backstop for insurance losses caused by terrorism to also include coverage for pandemics.
Insurance professor Zach Finn, in a video posted by AM Best, said modifying the Terrorism Risk Insurance Act could help soften the economic blow from the COVID-19 pandemic.
