The state mileage reimbursement rate for claimants has increased one penny to 54.5 cents per mile, Insurance Commissioner Allan L. McVey has announced.
Claimants are entitled to reimbursement for driving to medical examinations, appointments and treatments, including appointments with treating physicians.
The reimbursement rate is equal to the rate determined by the West Virginia Department of Administration’s Purchasing Division state travel rules.
