XL Capital Appoints Permanent CFO

XL Capital Ltd. announced Tuesday the appointment of Brian W. Nocco as executive vice president and chief financial officer. Nocco will join the company July 23 and assume the CFO responsibilities on Aug. 10 from Chief of Staff Fiona E. Luck, who has been serving as interim chief financial officer. Before joining XL, Nocco was chief risk officer of Nationwide Insurance Group. From 2001 to 2005 he was senior vice president and treasurer at Nationwide.
