Facts: Juan Alvarez fainted while in training to become a law enforcement officer with the Fort Pierce Police Department. He suffered a laceration when his head struck the concrete pavement.
The police department accepted the laceration as a compensable injury, and it paid for Alvarez's emergency room visit.
