No Permanent Partial Disability Award for Ironworker Who Had Shoulder Replacement

The Utah Court of Appeals upheld a denial of permanent partial disability benefits to an ironworker after he underwent a total shoulder replacement. Case: Snyder v. Labor Commission, No. 20160822-CA, 10/13/2017, published. Facts and procedural history: Raymond Snyder worked for Western Construction Specialties. While he was at work in July 1999, a hammer fell about 70 feet down an elevator shaft and struck him on the right shoulder.
