4th DCA Won't Disturb Denial of Worker's Claim for Alleged Fall From Roof

The Court of Appeal for the 4th District of California on Friday declined to disturb a decision denying benefits to worker for his alleged fall from the roof of a building. The case was Estrada v. WCAB (St. Mar Enterprises), No. D071699. Juventino Estrada alleged that he was working for his employer, St. Mar Enterprises, when he fell from the roof of a building on June 30, 2010. He claims he suffered a stroke later that day, and then spent three months in the hospital recovering.
