Q4 Net Income Up at Old Republic International

Old Republic International Corp. reported net income of $90.6 million for the fourth quarter of 2015, a 43% increase from net income of $63.3 million in the fourth quarter of 2014. For the year ended Dec. 31, Old Republic’s net income was $422.1 million, up 3.0% from $409.7 million for calendar year 2014. Net premiums earned by the General Insurance Group were $737.4 million for the fourth quarter, increasing 5.2% from $700.7 million in the prior year’s quarter.
