Worker Gets Attorney Fee Award for Defending Settlement From Subrogation

The Arkansas Court of Appeals upheld an award of attorney fees to a worker for defending his settlement against a subrogation claim by an insurance carrier. Case: Liberty Mutual Insurance Co. v. Youngblood, No. CV-19-970, 09/16/2020, published. Facts: Charlie Youngblood worked for Lexicon Inc. The Nucor Corp. hired Lexicon as a subcontractor for a construction project.
