A Texas appellate court ruled that an insurance carrier was entitled to the entire amount of an injured worker’s malpractice settlement, less a payment of fees and expenses to the worker’s attorney. Corby W. Stevenson suffered a workplace injury in June 2013 that was exacerbated by negligent medical treatment he received in December 2013.
