The Workers Compensation Research Institute said there was little change in the average total cost per claim in Illinois between 2019 and 2021.
Total costs per claim involving more than seven days of lost time increased at a rate of 2% per year since 2012, WCRI President and CEO Ramona Tanabe said in a statement Tuesday.
