The Occupational Safety and Health Administration has cited a Pennsylvania hot tub manufacturer for continuing to expose workers to a dangerous chemical.
In November 2021, OSHA inspectors found that Strong Industries Inc. overexposed workers to methylene bisphenyl diisocyante without implementing all feasible engineering controls. The agency cited the Northumberland-based company for similar violations in 2020 and 2021.
Strong faces a total of $98,905 in penalties.
