The U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration is proposing $7,000 in penalties against a company that handles shipping for the online retailer Amazon for exposing workers to a variety of hazards and recordkeeping violations.
OSHA said it issued one citation for an other-than-serious violation by Amazon Fulfillment Services in Robbinsville, New Jersey on Dec. 21. It also sent a letter alerting the company to ergonomic hazards on Dec. 30 and alerted the company to a medical hazard on Jan. 7.
