Pinnacol Distributes $70M in Dividends

Pinnacol Assurance on Tuesday started sending dividend checks averaging $1,319 to employers throughout Colorado. The state-chartered carrier is distributing a total of $70 million to more than 50,000 employers. Pinnacol said about 95% of its policyholders are eligible to receive a dividend. Eligibility is based on customers’ commitment to safety with timely claims reporting and investments in safety education, technology and equipment.
