1st DCA Wrapping Up Briefing Process for Constitutional Challenge to IMR

The California 1st District Court of Appeal has agreed to hear a case that brings a constitutional challenge to the independent medical-review process mandated by Senate Bill 863. A date and time for the oral argument in Stevens v. WCAB, No. A143043, has not yet been set. Briefing in the matter is set to wrap up next Monday.
