Legislation that would waive attestation requirements to compromise and release agreements and the suspension or modification of payments to those who have returned to work is heading to the desk of Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf.
The state House of Representatives on Dec. 15 voted 200-0 to approve amendments made to HB 1837, by Rep. Rich Irvin, R-Huntingdon, while the measure was in the Senate. The Senate voted 49-0 to pass the amended bill on Dec. 14 and return it to the lower chamber, which passed it 197-0 in October, for concurrence.
