Democratic lawmakers in Minnesota have proposed a bill that would offer workers’ compensation benefits to school employees who contract COVID-19, according to the Associated Press.
The bill also would give paid leave to health care workers and increase unemployment insurance for residents who receive Social Security.
Minnesota House Democrats announced the bill Wednesday as they laid out their legislative priorities for the new year.
