Municipal Employee Gets Benefits for Injuries From Fall in Parking Lot

The Illinois Appellate Court reinstated a decision of the Workers’ Compensation Commission finding that a municipal employee was entitled to benefits for her injuries from a fall as she exited her car to begin her workday. Jacqueline MacDonnell-Dayhoff worked as a crossing guard for the Village of Western Springs Police Department.
