The South Dakota Workers’ Compensation Advisory Council has released a draft of its annual report, with the finalized copy expected to come out within a few days, state labor department spokeswoman Dawn Dovre said Monday.
The draft annual report indicates that South Dakota’s base premium rates for workers’ compensation insurance decreased an average of 1.3% in both the assigned-risk and voluntary markets. The maximum increase recorded was 13.7%, and the maximum decrease recorded was 16.4%.
