Attorneys Can Permit Paralegals to Appear at WCAB

Because the Labor Code provides that non-attorneys may represent injured workers before the WCAB, attorneys do violate any Rule of Professional Conduct in permitting a paralegal to appear at hearings so long as there is informed consent by the client.
