The Young Worker Leadership Academy gets under way this afternoon in Los Angeles for three days of health, safety and labor law training that teens will put to use in their own communities. Seven teams of teens, ages 14 through 17, will return to their community with a project they created to educate young workers, parents, employers and teachers about the health and safety and labor laws written for workers under 18.
