Amerisure Mutual Insurance Co. has hired Jayashree Ishwar as the company’s chief underwriting officer.
Ishwar will be responsible for corporate underwriting, loss control and advanced analytics. She will report to Greg Crabb, Amerisure’s president and chief executive officer.
Before joining Amerisure, Ishwar was senior vice president and chief underwriting officer for Erie Insurance’s $1.6 billion commercial lines business. Before that, she was assistant vice president of enterprise risk management at Nationwide Insurance.
She received a Master’s of Business Administration from the Max M. Fisher College of Business at Ohio State University, and a master’s in neurophysiology from the University of Mumbai.
