The need is for experienced-only workers compensation defense attorneys. Positions requires candidates who can walk right in and do the job. So experience level has to be totally current, in workers compensation law, usually but not always in defense practice. You have to be an active member of the California Bar. We only have one position allowing a trainee which is in the San Jose area (see info below). None of our clients will cross-train from other areas of law at this time.

A few positions require that you bring some portable business. Many of our clients prefer attorneys who have marketing abilities to help develop new business and who also therefore know how to keep the current clients happy. If you bring a substantial amount of business our clients will roll out the red carpet! Mergers are also actively sort as long they make economic sense. Positions are available for partners and for those seeking to work towards partnership.

We are looking for a Managing Attorney in the East Bay/ San Fran area. You do NOT have to have management experience. For Statewide firm. If you want to manage, and if you have the skills, you will be considered !!! Most firms compensate with a base and bonus system and supplement with various perks. You can earn $150-190 K billing around 250 hours and up. We are told that 250 hours is very do-able because of the firms billing methods. There are firms with billing requirements under 200 hours, as well. ALL our clients have more than sufficient files and a large client list. Business-wise, all are doing well or better !

Attorneys who do not have workers compensation law experience need not apply. New admittees without workers compensation pre-attorney experience need not apply. Candidates waiting for Bar results with prior workers compensation experience can apply for future positions only.
