§ 7060.10 Certification of Record: Conditions
| a) Cost of Record
Judicial review of Commission decisions is had by summons as provided in the Workers' Compensation Act (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1991 ch. 48, par. 138.19) [820 ILCS 305/19]. In its decision on review, the Commission shall determine the amount of the probable cost of the record to be filed as a return to the summons. Upon payment of this amount, the Commission shall furnish the reviewing party a certified receipt. b) Amount of Bond In its decision on review, pursuant to Section 19(f)(2) of the Act, the Commission, or any member thereof, shall fix the amount of bond, if any, required to be filed by the appealing party as a return to the summons. Bond shall be set at an amount equal to $100 over the total unpaid amount of the award rendered by the Commission on review subject to a maximum of $75,000. |
