§ Petition to Suspend Compensation for Failure to Submit to Proper Medical Treatment
Petitions to suspend compensation, as provided in paragraph (d), Section 19 of the Workers' Compensation Act, shall be docketed and set for hearing as soon as possible, except that where an emergency is alleged in the petition, it shall immediately be set for hearing and reasonable notice of the time and place thereof given the injured employee. All such petitions shall give the nature of the injury and the treatment required. Notice of the time and place of hearing shall be served upon the injured party either personally or by registered mail. |
