§ 607.200 Practice rules: Pleading: Complaints to commissioner.
| 1. Upon his own initiative or upon the complaint of any interested person, the commissioner may investigate possible violations of law in all matters relating to his duties.
2. The complaint must be in writing and signed and verified by the person making it. Two copies of the complaint must be filed with the commissioner within 24 months after the last act complained of, unless a shorter period is required by law. 3. If, from the complaint or from other official records of the commissioner, it appears that the charges may be well founded, the commissioner will send written notice to the person charged at least 14 days before the date fixed for the hearing. The notice must itemize the charges and set forth the date of the hearing.
