§ 2054.054 TERMS.
| (a) Board members serve staggered six-year terms, with the terms of three members expiring July 1 of each odd-numbered year.
(b) A board member whose term has expired shall continue to serve until the member's successor is appointed by the governor or is elected by the company's policyholders, as applicable. History: Added by Acts 2005, 79th Leg., ch. 727, section 2, eff. April 1, 2007. |
