§ Terms; Vacancy



(a) Members of the commission hold office for staggered six-year terms, with the terms of one member representing employers and one member representing wage earners expiring on February 1 of each odd-numbered year.


(b) If a vacancy occurs during a term, the governor shall fill the vacancy for the unexpired term. The replacement must be from the group represented by the member being replaced.
