Court Upholds Summary Judgment for Worker Hit by Falling Sheet of Plywood

A New York appellate court ruled that a worker was entitled to summary judgment on his Labor Law claim for his injuries from being struck by a falling piece of plywood. Case: Escobar v. Safi, No. 2016-07243, 05/24/2017, published. Facts: Jose Escobar allegedly suffered injuries while working on a roofing project.
