Effective Jan. 1, 2013, the maximum weekly income benefit under the Nebraska Workers’ Compensation Act will increase to $728, the Nebraska Workers’ Compensation Court announced on Tuesday.The amount applies to work-related injuries and illnesses occurring on or after Jan. 1, 2013, and equals 100% of the state average weekly wage as determined by the administrator of the Workers’ Compensation Court.
