3rd DCA Denies Requests for Rehearing and Publication of Decision on Deputy's Comp Claim

The 3rd District Court of Appeal will not revisit its decision overturning an award of benefits to a sheriff’s deputy for a skin condition that was allegedly caused by his on-the-job sun exposure. It also will not order publication of its July 11 decision in County of Sacramento v. WCAB (McCartney), No. C082282. Jonathon McCartney had worked as a deputy sheriff for the County of Sacramento.
