A Wyoming man who pleaded no contest to a single count of workers' compensation fraud for not reporting he was working while receiving benefits could see the conviction erased from his record if he successfully completes a probation term, according to the Sheridan Press.
On Aug. 22, 2012 and again on Oct. 1, 2012, Victor Rodriguez stated he was completely disabled as the result of a job injury. Prosecutors said Rodriguez at the time was actually working for a tree service.
Rodriguez on Feb. 18 entered a no contest plea to one count, and a separate fraud charge was dropped.
