The Occupational Safety and Health Administration has fined a south Florida printing company more than $71,000 for failure to protect employees from amputation, electrical and fall hazards.
Nupress of Miami Inc. did not have guarding in place on several pieces of equipment, failed to establish a lockout/tagout program for machine maintenance, did not have a written hazard communication program in place and improperly stored flammable liquids, according to a news release from OSHA.
