NCRB Adopts Cancellation Changes from NCCI Manual

The North Carolina Rate Bureau (NCRB) announced Tuesday it has adopted cancellation-rule changes in the Basic Manual for Workers Compensation and Employer Liability insurance published by the National Council on Compensation Insurance (NCCI).NCRB said the changes also have been approved by state Insurance Commissioner Wayne Goodwin and will take effect Jan. 1 for new and renewal business written in the voluntary workers' compensation market.The changes allow pro-rated cancellations when a policy is canceled by the insured, if endorsement WC 32 06 02 is attached.
