The New Jersey Compensation Rating and Inspection Bureau will issue a 0.9% decrease for manual rates, but its circular letter to members doesn’t give the number.
“We usually don’t put the number in that letter,” said Executive Director Frederick A. Huber. “We don’t have a reason. That’s just the way it’s always been, and I’m not prone to change things. But our recommendation is no secret.”
The letter was simply to inform members that the revised rate is about to take effect, he said.
